This three-day course teaches participants how to use Business Process Mapping skills to analyze and improve current work processes while learning “hands on” how to facilitate a process mapping session.
To meet the demands of a constantly changing environment, organizations need a clear understanding of how their processes work. Businesses can realize process improvement by capturing a comprehensive view of the way their company does business. This is done by mapping their processes which will highlight opportunities for improvement, identify bottlenecks and by streamlining the way the process functions.

Companies have been downsizing and asking everyone in the organization to take on work formerly done by others. Added work and more hours at the office have not changed the processes. They need to be mapped, reviewed, revised and streamlined to eliminate waste and pinpoint outdated or repetitious work. Are you doing it RIGHT the first time?

This course focuses on developing skills necessary to accurately capture the “as is process” and how to modify and customize your business process to take advantage of process opportunities. Hands-on mapping exercises give participants the skills to gather key process requirements from your business process users and map an organization specific process.

At the end of the session you will have six facilitators with the facilitation skills necessary to map your business processes and 7 of your business processes mapped through second review. Consulting firms can charge more than $14,000 to map seven of your business processes. In addition, numerous business opportunities will be captured to improve your processes and add to your savings with process improvements.

You will learn how to map your process in VISIO. You will then have an opportunity to review the process map, conduct a second review and update the business process. Your process map will then be updated in VISIO incorporating the changes made by the process users using DeltaPoint’s mapping template and symbols.

*Client provides training, break out rooms, working lunch, LCD projector, six computers with VISIO 2007 installed, three flip chart stands and flip charts as well as instructor’s travel expenses (receipts provided) A 50% deposit is required 30 Days in advance and the remaining balance due five days before workshop start day. A 25% cancellation fee is assessed if cancelled with less than 14 day notice.
